Easy Scrambled Egg with Sauté Mushroom

Do you ever have a romantic night that makes you want to do something special the next morning for your significant other but at the sometime you don't want to bother to wake up too early? Well, I got just the perfect recipe for a simply wow-ing breakfast in bed.
Ingredients for Sauté Mushroom:
1 tsp butter
2 garlic, finely chopped
10 button mushrooms
1 tsp dried parsley
¼ tsp chicken bouillon powder (or simply use salt)
freshly ground black pepper

1. On a skillet, sauté garlic with butter until it becomes aromatic then add in the mushroom.
2. Keep the heat on medium and let the mushroom cooking until it releases its water and add in the dried parsley, chicken bouillon and ground black pepper.
3. Continue cooking until the mushroom for around 3 minutes or until the water evaporates.

Don't forget to prepare your best coffee!! If you prepare it now, it has time to cool down a bit while you cook the scrambled egg.

Ingredients for scrambled egg:
5 large eggs
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp crème fraîche
salt and pepper
a handful of chives or 1 scallion, finely chopped
¼ cup grated cheddar

1. Break the eggs on a non-sticky pan then put it on the stove on medium heat, add in 1 tbsp butter and and stir the eggs frequently with a spatula. Try to combine the yolks with the whites thoroughly.

2. When the egg starts to set, add the rest of the butter. Keep on scrambling the egg for another 5 minutes, you are suppose to have a soft and curd-y egg. Make sure you don't let the pan become to hot, keep moving the pan off and back on the heat would help while you continue stirring the eggs.
3. Add the crème fraîche and continue stirring and cooking for another minute. You can keep on cooking for a bit longer for a drier scrambled egg.
4. Serve the scrambled eggs on a plate, sprinkle generously the grated cheddar on it then pile the sauté mushroom next to the egg, then place 2 slices of pan-seared tomato. Sprinkle the chives or scallion on top and serve immediately with the coffee on side.

Seared tomatoes:
Cut tomatoes in 4, sear it on a pan on medium high heat and sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper. Turn the sliced tomato till both sides are nicely seared.
Happy cooking!

PS: take a minute to brush your hair and freshen your face with a splash of water then serve the breakfast in bed with your sweetest smile.
