Have you ever had Butter Chicken made by real Indian mom with authentic recipe? Would you tell me how is it tastes like? Is it always as sweet as the one at the restaurant?... Honestly, all the butter chicken I have had was from restaurants and it's always very sweet, almost like candy sweet. I wonder is it supposed to be that sweet?... Today I made my version of Butter Chicken, and it is not as sweet as the one at the restaurant. I like it better this way. How do you like your Butter Chicken?

Have you ever felt that birthday cake is over rated on birthday parties? I mean if kids birthday I can understand that having a cute cake with awesome theme is more important than the main meal itself, but when you are adult, sometime you just don't really feel like having a cake for your birthday (or in my case, I just don't feel like making one.. hihihihi..).
It took me quite sometime to figure out what can replace birthday cake on a birthday event. I wanted it to be effortlessly awesome and I meant it literally. I was looking for something that is not too complicated yet it still awesome in taste and get people to ahh and oohh, appreciating the palatial experience.
I stumbled upon many dessert recipes and this panna cotta become the champion because I love the unique taste of cardamom on milky dessert (and I happened to have some ripe mangoes :P ). I combined and modified few recipes to my taste (to my level of cooking ability more likely, which is pretty basic).
There are two things I like to do the most in life and those are eating and make friends, and what happen when I combine both at the same time? Its guaranteed there will be unforgetable moments with lots of laughs and good food. and I consider myself very lucky being surrounded by awesome people from different cultural background. Once in awhile, we have dinner together and bring our best dish to share.
One day, a friend of mine brought this lovely chickpeas salad. Honestly, I have never eaten chickpeas before and its actually tastes pretty good. I like it!... Like any other salad, this salad is healthy and easy to prepare. The only down side from this salad is that the chickpeas make me gassy.. hahhahaha.. Poor people around me!
