Simple Grilled Seabass Fish

Simple Grilled Seabass Fish


You can't get any simpler fish recipe then this one!


Ingredients:
2 Sea bass fillets, medium size, scaled but leave the skin on
Salt and pepper
3 Tbsp oil
4 cm of ginger, peeled and julliened
3 Garlic Cloves, thinly sliced
3 Thai chillies, deseeded and finely chopped
2 Scallions, finely chopped
2 Tbsp Japanese Soy sauce to taste

1. Slash the skin side of the fish 3-4 times then season the fish with salt and pepper.
2. Grill the fish, skin down first for around 5 minutes or until the skin is crispy, then turn over the fish and cook for another 2 minutes then transfer to a serving plate and keep warm.
3. Heat oil on a pan then fry the ginger, garlic and chillies for about 3 minutes or until golden. Turn off the stove and toss inn the scallions.
4. On the serving plate, pour 1 Tbsp of Japanese sauce on each fish and spoon over the pan-fiied ginger mix.
5. Serve with rice.


PS: Instead of grill the fish, you can also pan fry it. Heat 1 tbsp of oil on a non-stick pan then fry the fish, skin side first for 5 minutes or until the skin is crispy then turn over the fish to cook and cook for another 2-3 minutes, then transfer to a serving plate and keep warm.
