Carrot Kimpira [ Japanese Carrot Salad with Sesame-soy Sauce ]


Super easy side dish, main ingredients are carrot and soya sauce. Literally. My all time fav, fast and failproof. 


Ingredients:
3 medium size carrot, peeled and julienned
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp soy sauce (Japanesse soya sauce)
a pinch of red pepper flake (optional)
1 Tsp sesame seeds
1 scallion, finely chopped (optional)

1. On medium heat, toss the carrot into the wok and cover the lid for around 2 minute.
2. Open the lid and let the liquid from the carrot vaporize a bit.
3. Pour the sesame oil and stir well
4. Continue cooking until the carrot get soften to your liking then sprinkle the sesame seeds then stir well for around 1 minute.
5. Sprinkle the scallion on top and serve.

See how easy it is? I just love this carrot side dish :)
